What am I doing here?
I was once a PhD Candidate in History. Now I have a job. Tragic, I know. I also co-ran a blog/Podcast about wargaming called “Let’s Talk About Wargames” and did some freelance writing for different gaming spaces. I bet some of my work is still out there.
Here you’ll find short pieces detailing my attempts to progress in hobby wargaming. My area of focus was modern East Asian Military History, so things may tend towards that sphere, but I guarantee we’ll be covering a lot of different topics.
You’ll also find an ongoing WWII Campaign focusing on combined arms. This is based on the Warlord Games ‘Bolt Action – Combined Arms’ boxed game, but has morphed into its own little thing. The campaign remains spicy though, so check it out.
My FLGS is Game Knight Leagues. That’s where I’ll be hosting the campaign and other wargames. If you’re in the area, drop by or hit me up for a game.
Other Stuff
Mostly for my own sanity, as I forgot about a few already, linked below are pages dedicated to articles, chapters, and other works I’ve written or contributed to. If you are ever struck by the intense desire to read years old articles about wargaming, and can’t find it online, I’d be happy to share.
